Full-Time Position (2 year term)

  • Problem-solver: You’re used to digital challenges, and you’re not afraid to dive in and figure out new ways to solve a problem.

  • Knowledgeable: You have a good understanding of organization operations, and you are open to ideas from the team.

  • Integrity and Confidentiality: Some of the information you’ll be handling is confidential and we’d like to keep it that way :)


Here are some of the things you will be doing, and what we are looking for:

  • Reaching out to community members, associations, educational institutions, and organizations with the CEO.

  • Building a community around an important idea.

  • Establishing best practices for approaching Indigenous women to inquire about learned

    experiences.

  • Establishing appropriate methods to approach Indigenous women (one-on-one, group

    conversations) with discussions on how to get more Indigenous women involved in the

    technology sector, identifying impediments; move forward with meetings, events, etc.

  • Maintaining excellent notes and recordings of conversations.

  • Working with the CEO and research experts to create general best practices from the

    data that can be distributed nationally.

  • Facilitating groups during the research period and afterwards to share the

    information/results, providing recommendations and/or solutions.

  • Maintaining excellent relationships with funders and providing ongoing measurement

    and reporting for the project.

  • Project management experience will be considered an asset.

  • Existing relationships with the Indigenous community will be considered an asset.


This position is being funded by WAGE (Women and Gender Equality Canada), and Ethical Digital will be following the parameters agreed to within said contract.
